Description
Looking to collaborate with some other musicians on original progressive metal core music. Influences include some of the well-known metal bands like Mastodon, Baroness, Killswitch Engage, Dream Theatre, but recently digging the likes of Bleed from Within and Kingdom of Giants. I have accumulated a fair amount of cohesive arrangements and riffs that it is time to start putting the pieces together. The goal is to put together an EP worth of songs together, lock it in through a weekly rehearsal, and then starting playing out locally.
Realistically this is a passion project - I have a full time job + family. I've been playing since I was a kid, played semi-pro during my 20's, and now I'm 40 something. If you have similar interests with decent gear, an open mind, transportation, maybe some sample recordings, and have chops to play whatever instrument(s) drop me a line.
