Description
I agree that our political landscape has seemed to been razed to the ground. People seem to be blinded by color. It's either red or blue. Why does it have to be one or the other? Why can't we be both: and other? Like you, I vote based on the issue at hand and not based on political party. Like you, I tend to avoid measures that increase taxes. We're taxes enough as it is. And when a measure does pass that results in a tax hike, it seems like the improvements that were promised never materialize. Where does our hard-earned money go?

"Democratic law makers and Republican law makers are taking our rights away just as fast as they can. America has not been a "free country" for nearly half a century now. Both parties are to blame. Politicians in general are to blame.
I vote no on any measure that diminishes our right regardless of who wrote the bill.
I also vote no on any measure that increases our taxes. Until the government learns to manage our money properly, I will resist giving them any more of it.
There is no such thing as. "good" politician. They are all lawyers to start with."
