Refugee Ukrainian Family Seeks Temporary Housing

A young couple and their 6-year-old daughter are in urgent need of housing. Yulia, Oleksandr and Valentyna came to the area this past fall so Yulia, a theoretical physicist, could attend an emerging leaders program at Stanford. The war in Ukraine has left them stranded here, and they are unable to afford a rent increase at their current apartment. The family is looking for a 1- or 2-bedroom apartment, but would consider other living arrangements (e.g., sharing a house). They can afford up to $2,500 a month in rent. They do not have a car, so would prefer to live within biking distance of Las Lomitas Elementary School so Valentyna can continue attending school there. They are hoping to stay in the area until at least the end of December 2022. They do not smoke or have pets. They are quiet and kind.
