I have been a permanent vendor for over 15 years at the Weekend Vintage Markets. Goldenwest College(Huntington Beach|). RoseBowl (Pasadena) Long Beach Vintage Market (Long Beach). I sell vintage and designer items. Authentic! I am hiring a Helper for Saturdays and Sundays. 6 am to 3:30 pm. On the 2nd Sunday of the month it will be from 5am. to 5pm (Pasadena). We will drive to the markets together. I will pick you up and drop you off at your home if you would like or you can meet me at my home. If you are at all interested in learning the vintage and designer reselling business this is a opportunity of a lifetime!!!! 1st POSITION PAYS $20 HR. Independent contractor. You will be helping me set up the stall and break it down at the end of the day. I have a truck with lift. It does require you to be physical. Lifting 50 lbs mandatory. All clothes are on racks which must be loaded on the lift and rolled on and off the truck. Canopies will be opened and folding tables set up. One shoe will be displayed on the tables. Glass cases will be displayed on the tables. You will be watching as the customers come into the stall(I set up barriers so they come in and out thru a small entrance are. This is to cut down on theft. Customers might ask you for prices. You will just ask me a I will quote prices. YOU WILL LEARN ALOT! This is more of an intern position. But of course there is income. I am also looking for a assistant manger for my vintage shop. NO Designer items. For Huntington beach. 30-40 hrs a week.This is also a great opportunity to learn the Vintage resale business. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales for the shop Standard customer service for the shop. Computer work. Pricing merchandise for the shop. All aspects of listing online.(Taking pics and entering description of items. I will give you the prices until you learn how to price on your own.) 2nd POSITION PAYS $20 HOUR +COMMISSION. Independent contractor. I am considering retiring in the next few years and it is my intention to sell the COMPLETE BUSINESS MODEL(shop, online sales and the permanent vendor stalls) (which are almost impossible to get) in the next couple of years.
