Bobbi is a green female Indian Ringneck Parrot. Only a loving caring committed home will be considered. Aviary raised and very sweet. Will take treats from hand and will step up onto a cloth wrapped hand if necessary. Typical of IRNs she is shy and a bit nervy, but friendly if you don’t try to put scary hands on her. I’ve had him almost 1years and 4 month old. I have rehabilitated him from a stressed bird of 8 months old to a now healthy and content bird. Bobbi really likes routines. Routine makes her feel secure. And that is why I am rehoming her. I have ADHD and chronic severe insomnia and struggle to keep up a morning routine for her. I keep her front flight feathers clipped so she can be out of the cage all day and be safe. She is not a native, is captive bred, and therefore must never be released. Her ring started to appear around mid last year. Her original butchered wing clip that she came to me with is still growing out, and her tail is growing back atm after her last moult. Preferably with another gentle bird as she is quite timid, but I don’t want her to be lonely. She would not do well with an aggressive bully bird, but will appreciate a feathered friend with nice manners. She likes attention and being spoken to and can say some words and phrases. However she is hand-raised, so I would be much happier if she can now go to a caring forever home and live in a good sized aviary, grow her wings and fly about, and live a more natural bird life.
