Description

Press release from the Alameda County District Attorney's Office: May 25, 2022 "Our thoughts and condolences to the victims, their families, the students and staff of the horrific nightmare that occurred at Robb Elementary School. Our hearts are breaking for the Uvalde community. I am outraged that the availability of access to high-powered firearms has taken the lives of 19 beautiful children and 2 courageous teachers. When will America say "ENOUGH" to these mass shootings that affect all communities? As a member of Prosecutors Against Gun Violence, we have demanded that our Congress and our state leaders have the courage to save men, women and children from death, injury, and fear of gun violence. We need courageous Senators to pass laws to ban assault weapons, just a Senator Dianne Feinstein did in years past." This press release was produced by the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.
