Since San Diego has had a very dry season, local water agencies may need to find ways to cut water usage in the area. In March, the state's water use rose 19 percent compared to March 2020. Gov. (NBC San Diego)Indoor masking may return to San Diego Unified. As COVID-19 cases rise, the school district may require masks for all students in the district beginning May 25. San Diego Unified will require indoor masking for a minimum 14 days under specific circumstances. Schools will notify parents if their schools reach certain levels of COVID-19 infection.
