Major Trash Clean-Up Event Planned For French Valley

FRENCH VALLEY, CA — The small community of French Valley is taking on a big project this month, event organizers say. On May 21, the community will come together to make the city a better place to live. Residents will meet on May 21 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 30660 Benton. Road #D42 in Winchester and from there proceed to clean up the area for three hours. Food will be provided after the event. The event is sponsored by Adopt-a-Block, the Home Depot, All Good Things Ministry, Loew's, Temecula Valley Junk Pick Up, Stater Brothers and others, and all trash collected will be taken to the dump, arranged by Supervisor Chuck Washington, organizers say.
