Hello! I’m looking to put together a band to record an album I’ve written and play out in support of the album. I have most of the gear necessary to record the album, so there will be no cost involved in this endeavor. Whatever I don’t have, I will get. I sing and play guitar, bass, and some keys. I’m looking for musicians to fill out the group. At minimum, I am hoping to find a bassist and drummer. The ideal artist is self-motivated with a growth mindset, an openness to try new things, and a collaborative spirit. I am free weeknights after 7:30pm and weekends and am looking for musicians with the same schedule. To be clear: I am not looking to make a cover band, nor am looking to make a band to only play my music. I would like to put together a band that plays original music, and I am offering a starting point with my first album. I’ve released 4 songs since January, you can find them on Apple Music and Spotify under my artist name Nate Chantilly. These provide a glimpse of the music I am interested in making, though it is certainly not the whole picture. Some artists I like are Hendrix, Mateus Asato, John Mayer, Pink Floyd, Silk Sonic, Curtis Mayfield, Snoop Dogg, Beatles, Beck, Harry Styles, Green Day, Blink-182, The Frights, SWMRS…the list goes on.
