WESTLAKE, CA — A vehicle plowed into an Original Tommy's in Westlake on Friday evening, according to multiple reports. The incident was reported just before 6 p.m. at the popular burger stand at South Rampart and Beverly Boulevards, KTLA reported. One person was injured and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange told the Los Angeles Times. KTLA identified that person as the driver. "Me and my brother started running for our lives because his front left tire wheel came off and bounced on that roof and then it bounced right over the awning where I was standing under," Luis Hernandez told KTLA.
