STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton was awarded a $50,000 state grant for coronavirus aid, town officials announced Tuesday.
Stoughton was one of several communities to receive the grant from the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program.
Town Manager Robin Muksian Grimm said Stoughton will use the money to help offset the costs of personal protective equipment and COVID-19-related overtime.
"Special thanks to Stoughton Fire Department for their work in applying for the grant and to Senator Walter Timilty and Representatives Galvin and Kafka for their support of our efforts," Muksian Grimm said in a statement. "We have a great team in this town!"
