Why are democrats so upset about Twitter sale

I am conservative but I want to know what and how the other side thinks. I can't be aware of their thoughts and ideas without their input. I don't want to guess at what they believe, I want to hear it from them. Can someone explain why democrats refuse to hear what we conservatives believe? Why are they content to be told by their handlers what to believe about those they disagree with? Why do they not want to hear from those who have a different view of life than themselves? What is it about their own beliefs and actions they make them so fearful of someone having an idea or belief that is different than theirs? Is it possible that somewhere in their controlled mind, there is that bit of doubt that keeps them awake at night wondering if it is they who are wrong. Are they afraid that any information that invalidates what they are told to believe will cause them to reevaluate their own beliefs?
