Marty will perform his dad Merle Haggard's greatest hits and share some stories. The musical performance will be about 90 minutes. Marty's musical performance is scheduled to about 90 minutes. During his performance, Marty will share some stories about his dad and his music and sing some of his dad's songs and maybe a few of his own. Marty is the oldest son of Merle Haggard. He was on the road with his dad from about the age of 8. Marty is an eye-witness in the mid 60's and into the 70's when his dad wrote, recorded all of those great #1 hits. Marty went on tour with his dad on the road and traveled with other country stars like Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Kris Kristofferson, Glen Campbell, Charlie Pride, Conway Twitty and many others. A minimum of 50% of all proceeds will be donated to the Veterans of Foreign Wars,(VFW).
