Description

After a 2-year hiatus, SEADC is excited to bring back our annual fundraiser event and celebrate our 45th anniversary in a fresh new way! With the surge of COVID-19 cases related to the Omicron variant to the ongoing attacks and hate crimes against members of our community, 2021 was a year filled with uncertainty and instability. However, our community has proved once again that we are strong and we will persevere. This perseverance has become the strength of this generation and the future ones to fight for our voices to be heard and to invoke change. And this strength is the foundation of our continued resilience. Please join us on May 7th for a celebration of our community's resilience and radiance! FEATURINGOur celebration will feature some of the Bay Area's brightest Southeast Asian artists! Toy is the co-founder of LIONS SHARE, a creative community and music podcast on a mission to empower emerging Asian artists, and by day works at Twitch leading music community initiatives and the company’s Asian employee resource group. Toy’s greatest passion is bringing people of different backgrounds together through music. BochanMusical GuestBochan has dedicated her life to spearheading and continuing to sow the seeds of the Neo-Cambodian musical breakout movement.
