Description

CRASE is designed and built on Avoid, Deny, Defend to provide strategy, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. With all the active shooter events happening across the world, it only makes sense to be prepared. Sign up to receive training from trained police officers, who are passionate about what it takes to keep you safe! Over the years we’ve seen response times shorten and the capabilities of law enforcement increase. As a result of increased public awareness, many citizens have asked what individuals can do protect themselves and reduce the dangers faced during one of these events. Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. This course will also touch on events that are a danger to the public that do not involve guns but are other methods of harm. Space is limited so please reserve your tickets now. Class will be held at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Lake Pointe in the Tower 1 Auditorium at 6800 Scenic Dr., Rowlett 75088. Doors open at 9:30am and parking is free!
