Available for adoption through Dogma Animal Rescue, a Sonoma County 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. Oreo is a lively one year old, male Jack Russell Terrier mix. He currently weighs around 15 pounds and is full-size. He's very friendly, eager to please and a fun loving dog. Oreo loves to run and would like a good sized yard to get his exercise. Conversely, he's happy being snuggled up with you and being carried around. Being just out of puppyhood, he's a little mischievous and loves to collect and chew things, (and run off laughing) so puppy proofing is essential, but he corrects easily and will be easy to train. Oreo loves other dogs, but likes to chase cats. Oreo currently sleeps in a secured exercise pen, doing well on house training and is learning to walk on a leash. He has come a long way from being dumped in an orchard in the Central Valley, to living in a foster home with warm beds and regular meals and lots of attention! This guy is just a fun-loving, happy boy that he will make you smile every time. Oreo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, defleaed and dewormed.
