Liberalism in Texas is an anachronism to the states long history, sure it has it's pockets like Austin but generally speaking it's a conservative state with conservative values or its elected politicians wouldn't be conservative Republicans. Yes it's generally open minded and allows personal freedoms which attracts liberals, more for the jobs, lower costs of living and being State income tax free than anything else they value certainly not the weather but clearly not enough to keep tough guy fairfax there as he was probably shunned for his radical views pushing him to California where crazy views are easily accepted. The purpose of ballot drop off boxes are clear just as non requested mailed out ballots most of which centers around those that end up collecting ballots who are outside the state regulated chain of command election process that dilutes accountability. They are essential for Democrats to win as they lose more and more voter support in all categories particularly minorities who've come to realize Democrats only care about getting their votes not improving their lives. Is it any wonder why minorities support for Biden has dropped to the low 20 percent. With US Postal mailboxes on corners every few blocks the drop boxes aren't necessary and ripe for corruption which is what fairfax wants. It's obvious if you can walk or drive to a drop box doing the same with US mailboxes is even easier, drop boxes are unnecessary redundancies. fairfax trying to sell the need for "liberal cowboys and ranch hands" riding horses to drop boxes on the prairie is laughable, the migrants picking the crops aren't US citizens and can't legally vote which is what fairfax wants. We've had thousands of successful accountable elections without the need for drop boxes or non requested mailed ballots which is a new invention by Democrats to muddle the results, its as clear the spittle spewing from fairfax lips as he sounds out the diatribe he posts. Interesting the mental gymnastics he has to go through to make his obtuse points, the judges give him a 4 for his attempt which disqualifies him from medal competition every time. Wow, another "dick with ears". People in Texas generally come from somewhere else. There are natives, but like FL, AZ, and CA there's a big percentage of people from other places. As for me, see my other post. Yea dick I've lived in many places in Texas. Do I claim to know what *all* of them are thinking? Nope. As for their mindset? I know there's a growing number of people (like myself) who are tired of the political bullshit. And I also know that Texas invites many people/companies to come live there. Know what should scare the shit out of the right? The fact that Texas is becoming more and more liberal. That's right. Why don't you ask Abbott who he thinks would have won TX had he allowed mail in ballots? Less than half of Texas voted in the last presidential election. There are several reasons but main ones were no mail in ballots, and ballot boxes were 1 per county (further demotivating the populace to vote). There was a right-winger on Fox before the election complaining about the box locations being out in the middle of nowhere. I don't claim to be an expert on Texas, but I do know that this state you mark as Red today, will be Blue tomorrow. Doesn't that scare you? Oh well, back to can collecting.
