Looking for a new home for our 8 year old dog

Due to upcoming travels we are looking for a new home for our dog Loki. We adopted Loki when he was 2 months old. He is a very loving and happy dog; and can be a great guarding dog as well. We would love to find a new home for him with a big yard where Loki could run and play. We would be happy to pay for all his expenses (food, medical and other supplies) for the rest of his life in exchange for letting him stay with us for a few days once in a while, when we are back in town.
