Description
Hello,
We have been keeping a rehearsal space at Jack London Rehearsal Studios for a while now. Our current roommates have been offered to share in another, larger room in the same complex, moving out of our mutual space some time around May.
We would like to find a new band or artist(s) to share our monthly space with us once our current roommates have moved out.
Our future roommates will pay an even share of $380 into the room (the same amount as us, for a combined total of $760 a month), due by the beginning of each month. The new band will have to make payment arrangements with the studio. What you will get is keycard access to the studio and a key to the room, for as many as needed for your band. (The studio will let you know the prices for extra copies, etc.) In case you have never been to JLR, it is 24/7 access.
Our band uses the space Monday and Wednesday nights primarily, with an occasional drop-in over the weekends to grab or drop off gear. We can always negotiate usage of the rest of the days/nights during the week.
Our rules are simple as heck:
1.) Please keep your gear and yourselves to your side of the room. We will pay the same respect to your gear and your side of the room.
2.) Please don't touch or attempt to play any of our gear. We will pay you the same respect to your gear.
3.) If your band wants to use the space and isn't sure if it will cut into our time, just reach out to us; we will pay you the same respect and do the same.
4.) Band members only in the room, please. No visitors or students (if you happen to have a music teacher in your group). Believe it or not, we're still dealing with a pandemic, and we would want to make sure that we know everyone who is using the room!
5.) If there's a building/maintenance issue with the room, please notify us and/or the studio; we will do the same.
If this sounds like the kind of arrangement you and/or your band can follow, please reply to us.
Thanks for your time.
