WHEATON, IL — A driver has been hospitalized after a vehicle-train crash that took place at the Washington Street crossing in Wheaton Wednesday. The crash caused temporary closures at railroad crossings throughout Wheaton, according to a Facebook post from the city of Wheaton. The driver of the car was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening, officials said.
