The GSA Rules of Golf Group is a volunteer organization providing rules referees for golf tournaments for San Antonio & the surrounding area The GSA Rules of Golf Group is a division of Golf San Antonio and a volunteer organization promoting a sincere interest in golf and the true spirit of the game. The group is dedicated to teaching people the Rules of Golf in accordance with the USGA. The group prepares the golf course and establishes the conditions under which a competition is to be played. GSA Rules of Golf Group also officiates the tournament. ​ Monthly Meetings GSA Rules of Golf Group meets at Chester's Hamburger's in their “Party Room” on the third Monday of each month at 6pm. Chester's location is at highway 281 and Thousand Oaks. A member will present a Rule of Golf or other matters related to Rules Refereeing. There usually is a discussion on some Rules situations that occurred at recent tournaments. These meetings last about one hour. Most people arrive 30-45 minutes early so they can order and dine in the Party room. Anyone wanting to learn the USGA Rules of Golf is welcome to attend.
