19month old female blue heeler needs new home. She is spayed. Has been on heart worm preventative, topical flea meds, has rabies shot. No health problems. This is a fun dog. Loves to play fetch, race with atv’s, rides in vehicles well, has cow instinct but hasn’t been trained to work cattle. Good with other dogs, goats, horses, and seems to be good with chickens. She needs a home with room to run and someone who has time for her and time to train her. Ideally someone with experience with heelers. She is a very sweet dog, loves pets and scratches. Good with our kids. She barks when people come on the property, has been leery of some strangers and has growled a few times in the past. Not all the time. She has not bitten anyone. She is not food aggressive, nor is she a mean dog. I think she just needs more socialization training. I have spent the last week talking to tire kickers. People say they want her, arrange to meet me with her, only to have them tell me at the last minute that they suddenly must care for their elderly grandfather or some other bologna.
