Hello! Downtown Walking Food & Drink Tour company is seeking passionate, energetic, RELIABLE, flexible and fun foodies to join our team on a part time basis. A flexible schedule is a must and this is a great job for retired folks - much like a paid docent position - lots of fun! Currently we offer two tours. 11:45-3:30 and 1:45-5:30 We have a great training process and will stipend ($20/tour) during your ramp up time frame (typically 4-6 weeks). Once you are fully trained your pay ranges from $15-30/hour (which includes tips)! About you: Do you know and love Santa Barbara, food and people (preferably lived in SB awhile)? Are you reliable and have a flexible schedule? Perhaps retired, independently wealthy and/or just want a little fun $? Sound like you? Then this might be the job for you! We are looking for individuals who are: - Fun, engaging, out-going and love people and Santa Barbara - Live close to/in the Santa Barbara area and are not leaving anytime soon and have preferably lived here awhile - Must know how to email, text, take pics and make phone calls on their smartphone - Be reliable and have reliable transportation and punctual - Coach-able, easily accepts direction, and expertly follows detailed instructions -Looking for part time/occasional work (weekday and some weekends) - 1-3 ish days a week. -Self-employed individuals and/or flexible schedules preferred -Are available during the day some weekdays and some weekends (hours are about 11:30-3:30ish) *Please note that the job is not ideal for a summer job, training generally takes about 4-6 weeks (depends on you).
