Friday, March 25 ABOUT THE POSITION Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker II is assigned to the Streets and Sewers Division of the Public Works Department and is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks and operating power driven road maintenance or construction equipment and trucks. IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will be highly responsible, safety conscious, and have a positive attitude. Ideally, the qualified individual will have several years of experience operating motorized equipment (used for heavy construction) and at least two years of public works construction and maintenance experience. Expertise in streets or sewer construction and maintenance is highly desirable.
