SAN LEANDRO, CA — Last weekend, San Leandro Patch asked on our Facebook page, "If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?" The question struck a nerve, with several San Leandro residents offering responses. Pee Wee's Pizza garnered several votes for most missed. Noodles Pho Me was also mentioned more than once. Pring's Coffee Shop and Bakery is still missed. So is The Pipers Restaurant. Branching out from restaurants, Porters Market got a vote. Thrift Town also received a mention.
