UCSD is conducting a study to examine the effect of cannabis use on HIV related painful neuropathy. The study will involve the administration of vaporized cannabis in our laboratory and also the use of text messaging to monitor cannabis use over 6 months. Participants who complete all parts of the study may receive up to $570. For a confidential interview call . * Over 18 years old * Able to read and write in English * Test HIV positive * Experiencing neuropathy and pain * Use cannabis recently * We pay eligible participants $75 for an 6-8 hour screening visit that includes a medical exam. Not all individuals are eligible to participate.
