Did you know that Song of Songs - the book of love poetry - is commonly read during Passover? Join us for an event with the Osher Marin JCC and Marin Poetry Center to learn why Song of Songs is the liturgy for this holiday most commonly associated with matzah. UC Berkeley Professor Robert Alter will read from his translation of Song of Songs and will be accompanied by Marin Poetry Center poets reading contemporary love poetry.
Join us for a gathering in the outdoor courtyard prior to the reading, and see this event as a long-awaited gathering to celebrate poetry, the return of Spring and this long awaited holiday of freedom in person at last!
