SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Firefighters were working to rescue multiple people and quell a fire on the third floor of a building in San Francisco on Saturday.
At least 15 people were rescued and eight people were injured around 2 p.m., according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
Residents were asked to avoid the area around 1000 Howard Street.
