Description
Mia is a lovely Belgian Malinois who has been with us since November, 2021. We took her in as a foster and she has really become such a loving and sweet dog. We think she is ready to find her perfect forever situation now that has settled into living in a home rather than an apartment.
She is 10.5 months old, unfixed, and pure Belgian Malinois.
Her previous owners said she had all of her puppy package shots and she has always been in good health with no concerns.
She has some of her puppy energy still but can definitely relax and settle down next to someone on a couch or in bed. She really enjoys human company and is not a dog who prefers being left outside. Wherever her human is, she will be happy.
She gets along great with kids and other dogs, but because of her breed type, we suggest not having her around cats or smaller animals as it is in their nature to chase and herd smaller animals. Other than this, she plays well with other dogs and enjoys the energy from children, especially if they want to play with her.
She naturally has the Belgian Malinois snapping capabilities — which is where they get their nickname “Maligator” from. These aren’t aggressive or meant to intimidate, and are instead their form of showing content and happiness. They are rapid mouth clickers, which means they’re excited :)
