I-15 Crash At Winchester Road In Temecula Cleared

Description

TEMECULA, CA — A rollover crash on southbound Interstate 15 near Winchester Road in Temecula Thursday morning was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol. The wreck was reported at 9:13 a.m. A preliminary California Highway Patrol report indicates the crash involved an SUV and a van, and the right and middle lanes were temporarily blocked. One of the vehicles rolled over but the driver was able to get out of the wreckage. Traffic was backed up north of the I-15/Interstate 215 split, but as of 10:06 a.m. Caltrans cameras showed the area was clear. According to the CHP, approximately 10 feet of bridge railing was damaged as a result of the wreck. No serious injuries were reported.
