Neotropical giant green anoles

Leander TX

Description

These aren't the anoles you see running around in TX. Their range is from Mexico, to Central America, to Colombia, to Venezuela. They're the size of a baby green iguana, but are insectivores. They require a tropical setup with good humidity levels. A baking spot of about 95°, warm ambient side in the 80's, cool side of the cage in the low to mid 70's. They can dip down to as low as 60° during the night. I have a couple of them up for grabs because I ordered a 1.2 and received a 3.0. Asking $30 a piece. They enjoy crickets, mealworms, butter worms, wax worms, BSF larva and flies, as well as repashy gecko diet, small amounts of honey, and if you made nectar, I bet they'd enjoy that too. Shy eaters, but handleable animals for the most part. I see potential for them to tame down well. Please have a proper setup and don't purchase on impulse just due to the fact they're inexpensive reptiles. Text for faster response, thanks!
