Do you love to think of ways to make your community a better place? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a part of the fast paced world of cutting edge political campaigns?
Seneca Scott has led fights for major unions, community groups, and is the Executive Director of Neighbors Together, a nonprofit that takes our government to task to make Oakland a safer, more livable place. Seneca is leading a Charter Amendment for an accountable Mayor form of government, and pushing for more affordable housing so we can end the homelessness crisis in Oakland, and put our safety first.
Responsibilities will include:

This is a fantastic chance to learn relevant political campaigning skills and technologies, and engage your passion for politics at the ground level through a competitive election campaign in Oakland.
For those who want to strengthen their leadership skills, rapid advancement opportunities are available. We want to help you develop into the organizer you want to be through practical experience.
Political science, communications and related majors are preferred, but all are welcomed to apply.
Position length is flexible. The role is unpaid, with opportunity for a stipend or salary. Travel and food expenses will be covered.
