A little about me : I am and independent small jobs free lancer contractor/handyman. been on the trades for over 15 years and still learn new things ! I work 7-8 hours on the job site 1-3 hours on my desk 1-2 hours getting materials per day 5 days a week 2 DAYS OFF I specialize in small jobs and small remodels from simple a make overs to fancy stuff I got skills: digging trenches, rough concrete, electrical, sheet rock, all sorts of carpentry among other small stuff. my current list of clients is about 32 clients most of them for over 10 years and over the last few month I been picking up new clients and larger jobs and been using day laborers but looking for something a bit more steady (for now) I also got 3 real state agents that often ask me for help so been that said I am in the need of someone more steady than a day labor. In about a week or two (once I find the right guy or girl) I will star a stretch of about 6-8 week of solid work for me and one other person and hopefully even more if the timing come out right. Most of my clients are the Oakland, Kensington, El Cerrito, Berkley...and growing let me star w the fine print ( lol ) I can offer you 22.00 cash per hour to start and after a moth I can do 25.00 cash if you prove yourself to be better and if you are really good we can revise that. if you are ok we the above then continue So this is what I'm looking for : ** I adjust month to month my days off so I can spend time at home w my wife I have work long enough so I can do it the days off for end of February will be Friday and Saturday and March will be Sunday and Monday ! ** you need to be punctual because is how I am, if you are late the job gets delayed and so forth ! ** you do not need to have a lot of experience ( if you do you are on the wrong post) ** you do need to listen and follow directions (you ply the music I manage the orchestra) **you must be able to work w heavy loads ( I still like to use 80 lb of concrete bags ) **you only need and must wear at all times a tool belt w basic hand tools (I have the power of tools) **I will teach a a thing or two a day but you most work hard (not harder) but smart ! ** must have a clean driver licence !!! a must!
