We will view a presentation/preview of "One Safe Place," the new social justice center set to open in San Marcos in April. North San Diego County Human Trafficking Collaborative is a diverse group of individuals and community organizations committed to eliminate human trafficking and modern day slavery. Our mission is to raise awareness of human trafficking, provide a platform to share information, improve victim services, educate ourselves and the public, and advocate for policy and legislation related to human trafficking. The Collaborative meets every other month (on the first Thursday of the month) at 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist at 490 S. Melrose Drive, Vista, California. Event is FREE and coffee and pastries are served. If you are interested in attending one of our meetings or would like to be a guest speaker or be added to our mailing list, please contact us at [email protected] Soroptimist International of Vista and North County Inland is a worldwide volunteer service organization for business and professional women, working to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. Almost 95,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects that benefit women and girls. SI Vista and North County Inland was chartered on March 23, 1953 and has approximately 40 active members. We are part of the Desert Coast Region, Soroptimist International of the Americas. Our club holds luncheon meetings at noon the first and third Fridays of each month in Vista. We occasionally hold evening program meetings to accommodate members who are unable to attend meetings during the day. Please see our website for latest information.
