SAN MATEO, CA — SamTrans is inviting young artists in San Mateo County to design art that will be displayed on the side of a bus for the year. It's part of SamTrans' 16th Annual Art Takes a Bus Ride contest. The theme of the contest is "San Mateo County Reopens." Students in grades 9 through 12 can participate. The artwork should be 9--by-12 inches, on white paper and a horizontal orientation. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 25. One winner from each grade level will be selected.
