SAN DIEGO, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose two-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.71, its highest amount since Oct. 10, 2012.
The average price has risen 13 times in the past 14 days, increasing 8.6 cents, including four-tenths of a cent Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is 3.1 cents more than one week ago, 8.2 cents higher than one month ago and $1.184 greater than one year ago.
It is 1.5 cents less than the record high of $4.725 set Oct. 8, 2012.
