Here are the top stories in San Diego today: Oak Park bank robbery suspect taken into custody. A man suspected of robbing an Oak Park bank Tuesday was taken into custody, according to San Diego Police. San Diego Police Department Officer Sarah Foster said the incident occurred at 11:42 a.m. at the U.S. Bank at 5100 Federal Blvd. in the Oak Park neighborhood of San Diego. The man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. She complied and he fled on food and was apprehended shortly after. (City News Service) Motorcyclist hurt, struck by big rig truck in Ocotillo Wells area. A motorcycle rider was struck and seriously injured by a big rig in the Ocotillo Wells area. The crash was reported just after 12:30 p.m. at 5841 state Route 78, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident web site. The condition of the man is currently unknown as he was airlifted to a hospital. We will keep you updated on the situation.
