THANK YOU FOR THE POSITIVE RESPONSES, keep them coming. I'm prepping the far site (Vallejo) tonight and will analyze responses early Friday. If you have availability Friday I could use packing services but timeframe is a bit up in the air. I've been gearing up for a big DIY move but now I'm under pressure to hire out. Looking to hire out in whole or part. Ideally I'd like to do the packing but not sure I have the time. I'm meeting resistance from some of the moving companies I've had recommended in terms of an on-site inspection and estimates. I suspect half the problem is they are not based in San Francisco. Another concerning aspect is having packing ops and moving ops on the same day. I think this pill would be easier to swallow if I could "run" a packing team first: once it's all packed up then bring in the trucks and have at it. Some of the items (like the scales in the last pic) may be hands off at least as first, but these will be clearly marked. Finally, some of the stainless steel items look indestructible but scratches or dings on the flanges are ruinous. Moving to Vallejo.
