This concert will be performed without an intermission.
Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a concert featuring the Piano Concerto of African American composer Florence Price, Dvořák's beloved New World Symphony and the traditional sing-along of the civil rights anthem "We Shall Overcome".
All Santa Monica Symphony concerts are FREE, but pre-registration is required as seating is limited.
*UPDATED COVID Policy: All concert goers must show proof of full vaccination (patrons over 18 years old will also be required to show proof of ID) except for children under 5 years of age who must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time). All attendees must wear a mask covering their nose, mouth, and chin for the entire time they are on the John Adam Middle School campus.
