Guitarist Looking for Heavy Music Project

I'm a guitarist looking for a band (I know... you NEVER see those, right?). I'm mainly looking to play something heavy and pretty, like post metal, blackgaze, or prog metal, though I'm very open to other styles that fit the same description (goth metal, goth rock, melodeath, psychedelic metal... or even shoegazey stuff, or indie rock that is particularly interesting). A little about me: I'm 40 year old dude, I've been playing in bands of all kinds since the late 90s, I'm gainfully employed, I have pro gear (6 and 7-string guitars and tube/pedal rigs as well as digital), and I'm punctual and reliable. Skill-wise, while I'm not Tosin Abasi, I can keep up with most shredders- though I prefer playing in service of the song above all else. My influences are many, but here are some of my favorites: - Devin Townsend - Opeth - Alcest - Harakiri for the Sky - Killing Joke - The Birthday Massacre - Alice in Chains - Soundgarden - Emperor - Moonspell - (early) In Flames - Between the Buried and Me - Amorphis - Dark Tranquility - Pink Floyd Given my age and stable job, I'm not trying to do any hard-core touring. I'd like to play cool shows/festivals and record albums, but the days where I can tolerate driving for thousands of miles in a van with 4 other smelly people for months at a time are long behind me.
