A cross dock has large bay doors on both sides of the building. Trucks back into one side of the building, the items are unloaded and broken down into smaller shipments and transported to the other side of the building to be loaded on to the waiting trucks. Manually or using hand truck performs various material handling duties in the facility Manually loads finished product on pallet or hand truck. Performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean and organized Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations Responsible for and or assist in logistic and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the business requirements with minimum delay Job Requirements: Must wear steel boots Previous warehouse and logistics experience (2-6 months) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to use ladder, hand truck, and dolly Requires lifting/lowering of 3-30 lbs., pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures Willing to work extra hours and weekends For your safety, full COVID-19 procedures in effect daily.
