Description
Our power trio (guitar/drums/bass) just lost our drummer to a job relocation to the East Coast. Our main thrust is tight blues/rock, and we have a "softer" side too.
This band has been been performing together for 3 years, including two appearances at the NAMM Tribute to Ronnie Montrose. We play covers and more than a few originals.
We gig regularly: good musicians, good guys, no issues. Have 4 shows scheduled in January.
We do perform some familiar songs (e.g., Bad Company), but execute them at a higher level than most. Also, we tackle certain tunes other bands find too difficult, re-work familiar ones into our own style, and have accomplished original songs.
Seeking a drummer with skills and ears, knows how to lock in as part of a trio, understands dynamics, gets along with people, is reliable and prompt, etc, all the usual attributes of a pro-level musician. We are substance-free.
If you can sing backups/harmonies or even some lead, that's a plus but not a qualifier.
Some of the music we cover: Bad Company, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Govt Mule, Gary Moore, Queen, the Who, ZZ Top, Bob Dylan, Free, Neil Young, Allman Brothers Band, Chuck Berry, Robin Trower, Van Morrison, David Bowie, Grand Funk Railroad, Ray Charles, James Gang, Jimi Hendrix Experience, and more.
If you are interested, please reply with the particulars (recent experience, influences, shows, etc). Links are great, please provide!
Serious inquiries only. Will respond promptly. Thank you!
