Well-established equipment manufacturer located in Pearland, TX seeking a Parts Clerk/Materials Handler. We work hard, are eager to learn, always stay busy and are looking for someone with a similar work ethic. Skills required: Previous Manufacturing and / or Parts Room experience Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Be a fast learner to our processes and workflow Must be detail driven Multitask a wide variety of projects, strict deadlines Keep organized and be self-motivated Practice safe work habits, meet PPE requirements in specified areas Read, write, speak fluent English. (Spanish is helpful but not required) Typical duties: Pull & stage material for assembly using pick lists Process return of unused material after job completion Identify areas of improvement in regards to BOM, stock, and production requirements Document physical part counts accurately and reliably Organize warehouse and parts room Keep workspace clean and organized daily Work with Shipping Team on pulling and prepping Customer Orders to ship timely Operate a computer terminal to create decal markers Assist with UPS & Fedex shipments/deliveries Other duties as assigned Picking up Parts from Vendors Working Conditions: Work environment will be primarily in the production / warehouse area Expect to be on your feet 90% of the day Work Safe / Steel toe shoes are required Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to work in the different climates and weather elements Must have a clean MVR
