A fun family activity during the Holiday Season! Suitable for all ages; Wheelchair/Scooter Accessible. (Rentals available) *Tour starts at the front steps of the San Diego Museum Of Art in the Plaza de Panama in the center of Balboa Park. Balboa Park is known as the Jewel of San Diego. The beautiful gardens and stunning architecture create the perfect setting for a day out in San Diego. Kris is an experienced guide who loves showing people around Balboa Park and telling them about it's amazing history. He will show you photos that were taken over 100 years ago in the exact locations you will be standing, and also give you suggestions where you can take some of your own. The story of how Balboa Park became what it is today will enhance your experience and make you fully understand what you are seeing. This walk is suitable for ages 3 and up. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The terrain is mostly flat pavement, accessable by wheelchair/scooter. Sunscreen, water, hat, and sunglasses are recommended when the weather is hot. Many upcoming dates and times are available. He has also donated his time as a Gaslamp Quarter tour guide and docent with the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House, and a board member of the San Diego Professional Tour Guide Association.
