In this workshop, you'll learn how to get your garden in shape for 2022 by exploring soil fertility, weed management, and cool-season crops. In this in-person workshop, learn to take full advantage of the unique gardening climate in San Francisco, where you can grow your own fruits and vegetables year-round! Join us throughout the seasons for our Grow Your Own Food workshop. In January, you'll learn how to get your garden off to a great start in 2022 by exploring soil fertility, weed management, and cool-season crops that can be grown year-round. You will also begin thinking about what crops you want to begin for upcoming months. Instructor Carey Craddock, our expert instructor, is a horticulturalist who has been gardening and teaching others to garden in San Francisco since 1997. Carey will go over everything you need to know about getting a bountiful return on your efforts in your vegetable garden and take you on a full tour of our garden! COVID-19 information: GFE Mask Guidelines: All participants must wear masks except when eating or drinking. You will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
