Place Your Bets & Ring in the New Year in Style! The Darling Hotel is delighted to host its first New Year's Eve soiree on Friday, December 31, 2021. Whether you're a high-roller or keep it on the pass line, this black-tie/formal party is sure to win the house. And once you've placed all your bets, you are welcome to toast your New Year's resolutions at your choice of the Rooftop Afterparty or North Courtyard Lounge. Event Details Elderwood Vislia is delighted to feature a special New Year's Eve menu during your scheduled dinner reservation in addition to cocktails, beer, and wine throughout the evening in all event locations. Dinner reservations begin at 5pm to ensure all guests have time to enjoy the Casino before or after their scheduled dinner reservation. Our Casino, presented by AMS Entertainment, will be open to all guests from 6pm - 10pm with $500 fun money provided to each guest to use towards playing chips. Table games include Black Jack, Craps, and Roulette. Chips won are then turned in for raffle tickets to use towards your chance to win prizes! Once all bets are placed, guests can head on up to a Rooftop Afterparty to dance the night away with music by AMS Entertainment or take a chill out break in our North Courtyard Lounge. When the clock strikes 12, we will all raise a glass to the New Year with complimentary champagne. Guests are required to wear black-tie/formal attire to this event. The Darling Hotel and Elderwood Restaurant will be closed to the public from 1pm - 7am. Tickets are very limited and will book fast! Please bring valid ID for all guests upon check-in. Tickets and hotel packages are non-refundable, however you may transfer tickets to a different name on Eventbrite or by contacting the Darling Hotel up to 48 hours prior to the event. Guests are required to be in formal or black-tie attire. Parking for all General Admission guests is available in our public lot off of Oak Street or any Downtown Visalia public lot. Please follow the signage got check-in directions. Hotel parking is reserved for hotel guests only or those needing ADA accessible parking spots. Dinner reservations at Elderwood restaurant are only guaranteed for those tickets or packages that state as such. Walk-ins will not be available. The Elderwood team has created a special menu and cocktail options for this event. Guests will be able to table order their selections during their reservation times. Due to the size of our Elderwood restaurant, some ticket groups may sit with others at larger tables. Guests with tickets that are valid for dinner reservations will be able to select their reservation time during the check-out process. Covid-19 Related Information The Darling Hotel and Elderwood Visalia currently follows all state mandates and guidelines regarding Covid-19. Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear masks in any indoor spaces with the exception of personal hotel rooms or at any dining table. Anyone displaying any potential symptoms such as, but not limited to, cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, etc. within the past 10 days should refrain from attending to help prevent any exposure to other guests. Should any state mandates restrict guest capacity or inhibit the Darling Hotel from hosting as described above, ticket will be transferrable to a new event date. Full cancellation requests will fall under the normal Terms & Conditions. Should we need to postpone the event, we will let registered guests know and what these new date(s) and registration procedures are. Covid-19 Release By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge the contagious nature of the COVID-19 virus and voluntarily assume all risk that you may be exposed to or infected with COVID-19 by visiting or participating in an event here at the Darling Hotel and Elderwood Restaurant, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, serious illness, permanent disability or death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Darling Hotel and Elderwood Restaurant may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence or the Darling Hotel, Elderwood Restaurant, and others, including but not limited to employees, invitees, members, officers, directors, owners, and agents of the Darling Hotel, Elderwood Restaurant, and Courthouse Square Ventures, LCC ("Courthouse"), as well as other visitors or guests on property. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to you and your event attendees including, but not limited to, personal injury, illness, disability, death, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you may experience or incur in connection with your visit to or participation at the Property. You hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless Darling, Elderwood, and Courthouse, including their respective owners, officers, members, managers, directors, agents, employees, and subsidiaries (collectively, the “Darling Parties” and each, a “Darling Party”), of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating the risks stated in this section. You understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of a Darling Party, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after your visit to or participation at the Property.
