LA QUINTA, CA — Two people were extricated from a two-vehicle collision in La Quinta Thursday and transported to a hospital. Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the collision at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Washington Street and Eisenhower Drive. Emergency responders arrived to find two vehicles and a pair of victims in need of extrication. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The cause of the collision was under investigation.
