Seeking Shalom is a six-week curriculum that challenges us to take a more holistic and Biblical view of poverty. Lunch provided! Seeking Shalom: Engaging Poverty with Gospel Wholeness This is not simply a course about charity or loving the poor, though that is a part of it. There is so much more to realizing the state of our hearts as we strive to gain God’s heart for His world. Seeking Shalom is a six-part curriculum series that challenges us to take a more holistic view of poverty, equipping you to create real and lasting change in your community. It is a video and discussion-based, community-driven experience that will equip churches, nonprofits, and practitioners to transform the charity paradigm. In the Seeking Shalom curriculum, hear from movement leaders in community development as you are guided through core principles that go beyond meeting material needs and to finding “shalom.” We will meet over dinner for 6 weeks to journey through the curriculum together.
