I am primarily a song writer that plays guitar. I do sing my own songs but do not consider myself a singer. I am seeking a like minded drummer with similar music tastes to create, jam and work out songs to record/perform. Would also like to do some obscure covers and classics in our own style... Influences: I am a huge Tom Morello fan, Post Rage mostly, Audio slave and Nightwatchman. My early influences include. Bob Dylan,Cat Stevens, Leonard Cohen was a very big influence. Vic Chestnutt, one of the best song writers that very few know about. Eric Burton and The Animals. Early Jethro Tull. Nothing past Songs From the Wood album. Foghat, Foreigner, Jimi Hendrix Alice Cooper, The Who and of course, The Beatles. Janice Joplin and especially her bad ass band, Big Brother and the holding company,. Alice in Chains /Nirvana. Later influences include Gary Clark Jr, Amy Winehouse, Dr Dog, The be good Tanyas, Handsome Family, Carry Nation and the Speakeasy, The Heavy, Muse and the Jack White/ White Stripes, Black Keys.
