Community Event: The Mission Beach Town Council & Don't Trash Mission Beach present a Toy Drive benefiting Toys for Tots and Beach Cleanup. Please join us for our 2nd Annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive and Beach Cleanup. Bring your family and friends, or come out and make new friends! It's a fun way to give back to the planet and our community while meeting people who care as much as you do! Geppetto's toy stores have joined us again this year and are offering a 10% discount on any toys purchased for our toy drive. Geppetto's participating locations are Old Town, La Jolla, and Fashion Valley. Click Here for participating location addresses. Belmont Park will be giving away a free rollercoaster ride pass to anyone donating toys. Ellenos Greek Yogurt will be there giving out samples to anyone donating toys at the event. You haven't had yogurt like this before! Check them out here! We will have educational materials on hand so it is a great learning experience for everyone! Look for tents on the grass south of the Roller Coaster on the Ocean Side. Trash bags, grabbers, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Feel free to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
